Phoenix Wright
This is going to sounds dumb, but I really miss Who Wants to be a Superhero. I feel like not having it this year was actually a factor as to why this summer has been somewhat lacking. I'm pretty much over my other summer television obsession, America's Got Talent. Instead, I amuse myself with observations I find at work like this:

“I credit our amazing team for not only working hard to sell ETS products, but for building relationships with our customers to ensure that those products are a good match for their educational needs,” says Internal Sales Manager Frank Miller.
He should know. He is the G@# D$%^ Batman.

I had a 4.0 semester! *confetti* Of course I only had one class. Perhaps someone should defend my case. But who!? To celebrate, I declare a link post. Anti-Shurtugal has explained to me the explicitly how and why to hate the Inheritance Trilogy. However, Arya is very pretty. Also, for my roleplaying crowd, I'm sure you've noticed that the Magic Item Compendium is a pain in the butt to search, but this index may be of some use. Too bad it's only organized by names.

...wow, I could totally do a better index than that once I get my hands on a copy of the MIC again...

I would love a text-based version of the Magic Item Compendium, similar to Complete Champion and Spell Compendium. That would pretty much solve any problems I have.

Also, as you've been one, do you know anything particularly nice for a mid-level (8th) Druid who loves Wildshaping? I think the armor that transforms with you is a been much at this point, but it'd be nice to give him something other than a +1 weapon he'll just put away and never use, and any Periapts of Wisdom he lays claim to may result in him getting an eldritch shivv from an elf when he lets his guard down.

Hmm... I seem to remember there being a prestige class (possibly in Complete Adventurer?) that lets you apply your weapon's enhancements (and possibly abilities) to your wildshape forms... but that probably won't help you here.

I think there's something called the Clasp of Wilding (or something along those lines) that allows you to continue to benefit from the item it's attached to even in while you're in wildshape. Unfortunately, I don't have the faintest clue what source it's in or how affordable it is for an 8th-level character.

(Sorry I can't offer much else. I probably could if Vedis had been better planned out and better equipped, but...)

No worries, I found the clasp, and it's certainly a possibility. There's actually a LOT of great shifting classes now, many of which at least give you some degree of spell casting. I'm smelling healing collar for the pet bear. The damn thing takes the most damage of anyone in the party anyway.
